Tarot Card Weekends

Friday & Saturday nights, £124 per person

tarot weekends Come and learn the art of tarot card reading in the relaxing surroundings of the B+B Weymouth with our local tarot card expert Garry Andrews.

Garry's interest in Tarot began at the early age of eleven when his mother asked him what he wanted for his birthday. He replied, "a pack of Tarot cards!" Having read Tarot for 35 years privately and at psychic fares and taught the art of Tarot reading, Gary has developed a workshop which allows a quick understanding of the major and minor arcana and how these relate to people's lives.

The course at B+B Weymouth is the culmination of a long journey to simplify the way Tarot is taught. The aim of the day is to quickly understand the tarot cards through a short sequence of hand signs to easily link the main elements of the minor arcane. How the major arcane is learnt will be revealed on the day! He has drawn on some old techniques and added many new ones to this exciting course.

This course is a quick, sure fire way of learning how to read your and your friend's tarot cards.

Friday
From 2 pm	Check In
4 pm - 6 pm	Pre-dinner drinks in the lounge. This is a chance to meet your fellow attendees and the course tutor over drinks.

Saturday
9 am - 10 am	Hearty Dorset Breakfast at B+B Weymouth
9 am	Guest meet in the lounge for an introduction to the day's events over coffee. The morning session will cover the basics of the Tarot cards, including a guide on how to remember the major arcane and minor arcana cards. Garry will take the class through how to look at the elements (fire, wind, water, air) and how these relate to the four suits in the arcane and in turn to people's lives. The course will include a set of guidelines to take away as an aide memoire, along with a pack of Tarot cards.
12:30 pm - 2 pm	Pub lunch. For those who fancy it, there are plenty of pubs for a spot of lunch (please note: this will be an additional cost).
2 pm - 4 pm	The afternoon session is where you get to put your learning into practice by reading fellow course member's cards. Guests will be put into pairs and Garry will be at hand to monitor progress and assist where necessary. The afternoon will close with an questions and answers sessions
4 pm - 6 pm	Group Session.
