Learn how to Bake with The Phoenix Bakery and B+B Weymouth...

Enjoy a fabulous baking break in Weymouth! Stay at the 4* boutique B+B Weymouth and just across the road is the new Phoenix Bakery where you will learn how to make the perfect sponge dough with Artisan baker, Aidan Chapman.

Master baker Aidan Chapman will guide you through the key steps of sponge dough process during this "no-nonsense" bread-making day. The day will start at 10am, finishing at 4pm and you will cook your own bread or pizza to enjoy over a relaxing lunch in the first floor cafe where local artists and photographers exhibit their work.

Aidan Chapman was the head baker at the Celtic Bakers Organic Bakery London before relocating to Dorset to set up Leeker's Bakery, The Town Mill Bakery and recently The Phoenix Bakery. Aidan has appeared on The River Cottage TV series and is a master of baking breads, cakes and pastries.

The baking courses run every Monday excluding August 2010 and bank holidays and the offer includes a 1 or 2 night stay (Sunday evening or Sunday and Monday) at the B+B Weymouth so that you can start the course refreshed after a good night's sleep.

Located just outside Weymouth at the Moreton Training Camp in rural Dorset, the most popular and successful team development day is called Find Blackbeard's Treasure which aims to improve company training objectives by engaging employees and managers to work in teams to perform tasks, unravel puzzles and solve clues to find the treasure. Legend has it that local pirate Blackbeard buried some valuable booty in the woods, so we’ve devised a treasure hunt where it’s up to you to work together as a team to crack the clues and find the goodies. The hunt for Blackbeard's Treasure isn’t easy and it will require some cohesive teamwork, lateral thinking and lots of brain power to decipher and decode the riddles via practical tasks. Once the tasks are completed the teams will win the right to clues that will lead to the treasure’s location.
